Epic is the only word to describe Karen and Conall’s gorgeous wedding! I’m pretty sure this was the first time gangsta rap had ever been performed in Mussenden Temple, making this ceremony truly unique and unforgettable!
There was so much excitement during the planning stages as Karen and I collaborated to create a bespoke medley for their exit, featuring 10 gangsta rap and RnB songs, all by female artists including Mary Mary, Mary J Blige, Eve, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Mis-Teeq and more! This medley was in part inspired by another Gangsta Rap medley I’d created earlier this year featuring Dr Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Coolio, which Karen and Conall also included in their ceremony during the Signing!
Then for her entrance, Karen chose a song by Mariah Carey which brought out all the right emotions on the day – Always Be My Baby! I absolutely loved creating my own arrangement of this song, specially tailored to match Karen’s bridal party and when it came to the big moment, everyone knew their cue to start walking so it all flowed perfectly! Such an amazing time working with this fab couple to bring their ideas to life and create their dream soundtrack!
