Rachel and Martin’s stylish winter wedding at Drenagh Estate was nothing short of magical! Their soundtrack was wonderfully eclectic, with some Scottish songs to celebrate Martin’s roots, some movie themes from their favourite films, and some classic country songs adding relaxed, romantic, rustic vibes to their day!
Rachel surprised Martin with a beautiful bespoke medley as she made her entrance down the grand staircase. Martin loved the film Up, so we incorporated the music from The Ellie Badge and Married Life to create a gorgeous processional for Rachel and her girls, and it brought out all the right emotions!
Rachel also requested two fabulous songs for the signing – one by Dolly Parton and another by Billy Joel – both of which I was delighted to add to my repertoire! For their joyful Exit, Rachel really loved a song by Randy Travis but wasn’t sure if I could create an upbeat piano version, so I spent some time writing my own arrangement, and when she heard my recording, she absolutely loved it! It was such a fabulous song for this moment and the most beautiful sentiment to start their next chapter together!
Their guests also enjoyed listening to more of Rachel and Martin’s favourite songs as they sipped their champagne and celebrated with the happy couple all afternoon!
