Really enjoyed being part of Amy & Hugh’s stylish winter wedding at Titanic Hotel! The show-stopping Christmas tree in the Drawing Office added some fabulous festive vibes to the room and co-ordinated perfectly with Amy’s colour scheme!
Amy chose a beautiful folk song by Mary Chaplin Carpenter for her bridal entrance, as they both had special memories of this from watching the film Fly Away Home! Its gentle, captivating melody created a very soft, romantic backdrop for this moment, while Amy walked down the aisle with her parents.
I was also delighted to accompany Amy’s sister Chloe who performed a stunning solo of a traditional Irish folk Song – My Lagan Love. This piece also had special memories for their family and the lyrics were so perfect for their day, as the Titanic Hotel is situated just beside the River Lagan.
For their joyful exit as newlyweds, they chose a classic tune by The Beatles to celebrate their love as they greeted their guests! Their drinks reception was filled with feel-good songs and festive faves, and there was a great party atmosphere in The Pavilion Bar all afternoon!
If you love these songs and you’re still searching for inspiration for your wedding, you’ll find lots more fabulous contenders in my wedding playlists!
