Winter wedding warmth at Orange Tree House

Such a pleasure to be part of Nina and Michael’s beautiful winter wedding celebrations at Orange Tree House in Greyabbey. Although they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony during lockdown, they always planned to celebrate with their friends and family at a later stage, so it was wonderful to finally be able to perform live for them after so many rescheduled dates! From the outset, Nina had a classical piece in mind for her entrance which wasn’t a traditional wedding song, but it’s haunting melody was incredibly captivating and it created a beautiful backdrop for this special moment. The couple also featured a slideshow during their ceremony with photos of their lockdown wedding, and instead of having any sound as part of the slideshow, they asked me to perform a song which they chose in memory of a loved one. I was also delighted to accompany Michael’s sister Jess as she performed a stunning solo of the Etta James classic At Last – definitely check out the video on my Instagram profile if you get a chance! The happy couple also requested some of their fave movie themes before the ceremony and afterwards during their drinks reception, which I’m told were a huge hit with their guests!
