Welcome to my Wedding FAQ where I will be answering another question from my brides and grooms! Today’s topic is piano accompaniment for vocalists or other musicians during your wedding ceremony! I’m regularly asked to accompany singers (both professional and amateur) and you’ll be pleased to know this is something I just love to do plus there is no extra charge for this service! I have worked with lots of experienced singers and musicians in the past, plus some who are new to the world of performing! I’m very happy to liaise with them directly prior to your wedding to discuss the finer details of your chosen pieces so this is one less thing for you to organise! I can also transpose songs to any pitch (to suit any vocal range and instrument) and provide recordings of songs in advance if needed, should this be helpful for rehearsal purposes. My best advice is to plan ahead as much as possible, in case any special arrangements of songs are needed, and I encourage all my couples to discuss their requirements with me in the early stages, so we can plan ahead accordingly! So whether you’re asking a family member or friend to perform something special, or you’re hiring a professional vocalist or musician, I can work with them to ensure everything is coordinated well in advance and our performance on the day is perfect! If you’re considering having a soloist for your wedding and you’d like me to accompany them, please get in touch and I’ll be delighted to discuss your plans further!
