Loved providing music for Jen and David’s beautiful wedding today at The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn! Their fantastic playlist featured a few tunes by The Fab Four (which always gets a thumbs up from me!) plus an iconic movie theme from 1965 and even a little rock and romance from Elbow! Always love a bit of nostalgia with wedding music, and today’s Entrance piece was a touching throwback to the bride’s childhood as she had a beautiful music box which played this song! Such a lovely idea and a great way to capture these fond memories! Add an afternoon of classic love songs and chart-topping hits into the mix and you have a fabulous fun-filled celebration! Loved this couple’s brilliant idea for wedding favours – gorgeous personalised tins of sweets supplied by BC Products with stunning artwork on the front by the amazingly talented local artist Keith Drury! Also makes a great gift for wedding guests who are visiting NI as it’s a little bit of local history to take home! Check out the links below for more info! Adding even more artistic flair to the day was a hand-painted floral emblem (designed by Jen’s mum!) which was featured on all their wedding stationery! A little inspiration and creativity can make a big difference, not just with your music but with everything! Also delighted to catch up with one of my lovely past brides Katie whose wedding I had the pleasure of playing at earlier this year, during our sizzling summer heatwave which seems like a distant memory now! Really enjoyed being part of today’s celebrations and especially loved all their music choices! Wishing this wonderful couple a fantastic future together filled with many more magical moments!
