What a glorious day for Charlotte and Marcus’ gorgeous summer wedding! Today’s happy couple tied the knot in the Omagh Meeting House at the Ulster Folk Museum where everyone enjoyed a quick tour of the park (and a trip to the vintage sweet shop!) before heading across to the Culloden Hotel for a sparkling champagne reception! As most of you know, I love being asked to perform surprise songs at weddings and today’s Bridal Entrance was just that! Charlotte kept her Processional music a secret from Marcus as she knew it would be much more special if he wasn’t expecting it! So when Charlotte started walking down the aisle to ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran, it definitely brought out all the right emotions! It had a very special meaning for this couple as this was the song which had been playing when Marcus proposed to Charlotte so it was the perfect way to start their celebrations today! Making their ceremony even more personal, Marcus’ sister Mel performed a beautiful solo during the Signing of the Register and I was delighted to accompany her as she sang ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri! Being a huge Disney fan, Charlotte just had to feature one of her favourites during the ceremony and it was a fabulous choice for their joyful exit as husband and wife! They walked back down the aisle to the famous Toy Story theme – ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me’ – and their guests loved it so much that some were even singing along! There were lots more great tunes throughout the afternoon at The Culloden as everyone enjoyed soaking up the sunshine whilst sipping their champagne on the terrace and listening to live music! Such a fantastic atmosphere today with this fab couple and an absolute pleasure to be part of their celebrations! Wishing them a wonderful future together and hoping this new chapter in their lives is filled with lots of love and laughter!
