Delighted to provide music for Laura and Andrew’s wedding reception today in the beautiful Orange Tree House in Greyabbey. Overlooking the shores of Strangford Lough, this stunning venue was the perfect setting for their rustic French-inspired wedding! I played a selection of classic and contemporary love songs throughout the afternoon as their guests relaxed with a glass of Prosecco and soaked up the atmosphere in the Orangerie! Then in the evening, I relocated to the beautiful stone banqueting room where everyone could continue to enjoy the music while they were dining! As I was playing, I couldn’t help noticing all of the personal touches and handmade creations around the room, from the lace tablecloths and decorative bunting to the slate table plan and antique typewriter! It was pure vintage elegance from start to finish and it definitely added to Orange Tree’s old-world charm! My playlist for the day included everything from classical pieces to chart hits, as Laura and Andrew’s taste in music embraced many different genres and eras! But they chose to feature one artist throughout their wedding whose unique style always makes a statement – Ludovico Einaudi. This track is one of his most famous and most beautiful compositions, and it has quickly become a favourite, especially for weddings! I just love playing it and I hope it brings back many happy memories for Laura and Andrew when they listen to it!
