Just a quick update for everyone who is currently reviewing their 2020 wedding plans! Following Tuesday’s announcement, it’s likely that many couples are now discussing their options with their venue.
If you’re debating whether or not to postpone your wedding or you’re considering having a smaller celebration with restrictions in place, I would recommend reaching out to all your vendors to discuss potential backup plans and check availability etc so you’ve time to make an informed decision. All venues and vendors operate differently and I’m aware that couples are already very stressed and confused at this point! So my advice is simply to make things a bit easier and seek reassurance from your suppliers that they can accommodate any changes to your plans! Gathering as much info as possible at this stage will help you to make the right decision so you won’t have to panic further down the line. This may sound obvious but it’s not always easy to think clearly at times like this!
