Just posting a quick update for all my lovely couples who are planning to get married later this year. Following the recent publication from the NI Executive, I know many of you are still feeling confused about your plans for the day! Some of you have contacted me to confirm you will be proceeding with your booking so a big thank you to everyone who has already been in touch! If you are still in discussions with your venue, I’d just like to highlight a few key details below, as I know that safety is your foremost concern as you plan your day in line with new guidelines –
•︎ As a solo instrumental musician, I am very low risk as I can be located at a safe distance from guests, whether the wedding is being held indoors or outdoors.
•︎ I supply all my own equipment including seating and power supplies which means there is no direct contact with any hard surfaces in the venue.
•︎ I will wear a mask if required during set up and performance to further minimise risk.
•︎ I will liaise with the venue in advance to coordinate my set up and arrival time so they can arrange access safely and advise further re format for the day.
•︎ I have my own hand sanitiser which I will use regularly to further protect myself and others.
•︎ I will avoid close contact with anyone and resist the urge to congratulate couples with a hug! Instead I’ll share the love with a socially distanced ‘air heart’!
•︎ If you wish to restrict live music to a shorter part of your day, but you would still like some ambient, romantic music for your meal, I also offer professional pre-recorded tracks via my online music shop ‘LoveNotes by Alyson’! All my music is fully licensed, copyrighted and legally distributed so you are free to use it in any venue! There’s also a very special offer coming soon so watch this space for more details!
•︎ All wedding music consultations will be done via phone, email, or zoom meetings until further notice.
Hopefully this helps to reassure you and answer some of your questions, but if you’d like to discuss anything further, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Here’s to safe and happy planning!
Thanks to the lovely Paula at Hello, Sugar for this fab image from Andrea and Simon’s wedding!
