Such a pleasure to provide music for Lynsey and Neil’s wedding ceremony today at The Tap Room at Hilden Brewery in Lisburn. Loved the intimate, relaxed atmosphere at this venue with its vintage vibes and quirky decor! Lynsey chose a great mix of music, including two new requests for me! Her first choice was inspired by the iconic Twilight movies, proving that this famous soundtrack is still dominating the wedding scene! (Even if you’re not a fan of vampires, the soundtrack is worth a listen if you fancy something a bit different!) Today Lynsey walked down the aisle to the same song as the heroine Bella at her wedding in Breaking Dawn – Part 1! If you’re a fan of the film, you’ll instantly recognise this instrumental version of Turning Page by Sleeping At Last! Add a candlelit aisle and lots of fairy lights into the mix and the stage is set for a Bridal Entrance every bit as enchanting as Bella’s! The epic movie themes continued during the Signing with songs from Armageddon and Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, but Lynsey and Neil stepped up the pace at the end of the ceremony with their grand finale – a piano cover of the super-energetic song ‘Starlight’ by indie rock band Muse! It wasn’t long before the newlyweds were celebrating downstairs in the brewery with a Belfast Blonde (that’s one of the craft beers rather than one of their guests!) and getting into the party spirit! Sending love and congratulations to this fab couple and wishing them a fantastic future together!
