It was a pleasure to be part of Jennifer and Darren’s wedding celebrations today in The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn! Such a stunning venue at this time of year with gorgeous autumn colours all around! I loved Jennifer’s choice of music which featured something old, something new and something a little bit different! For her procession, she chose ‘Halo’ by Beyoncé, and it was the perfect song to start the ceremony! Then as they were signing the marriage schedule, I played another favourite which everyone enjoyed – ‘All You Need Is Love’ by The Beatles! Even though it was written almost 50 years ago, it continues to be one of the most requested songs for weddings, as it always creates a wonderful atmosphere! Then for their Exit, Jennifer had something special in mind! She really wanted an upbeat song for this part, but it wasn’t until she heard a quirky Disney duet that she knew she’d found the one! As soon as I listened to it, I knew it would be a fantastic way to end the ceremony and it would also make a great icebreaker for the drinks reception afterwards! I’m sure a few guests were tempted to sing along but even without vocals, this song has real energy and it was a terrific toe-tapper for their walk down the aisle as husband and wife! Fantastic music for a fantastic couple and I wish them every happiness in their new life together! Enjoy listening!
