Wedding bells were ringing for today’s happy couple Paul and Katie following their beautiful ceremony in Holy Family Church, Teconnaught. They chose a very unique selection of music which was perfect for their celebrations. Their aim was to create an intimate inclusive atmosphere for their guests, as quite a few were visiting Ireland for the first time! Paul and Katie both loved listening to Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi, and they felt that his minimalist style of music would add an elegant backdrop throughout the service. They carefully compiled a playlist featuring four of Einaudi’s creative compositions, which could be performed during the Bridal Entrance, the Exchange of the Rings, the Signing of the Register and the Exit of the Bride and Groom. They were all so different yet there was a universal theme which resonated throughout. It’s no surprise that Einaudi has become known as the inventor of ‘atmospherica’! The fusion of delicate chords and captivating melodies makes this music very addictive to listen to and a joy to play! Such a pleasure to perform these pieces for Paul and Katie today! Wishing this wonderful couple a fabulous future together!
