Welcome to my June edition of Bride Ideas – my monthly blog with ideas and inspiration for your wedding music! I’m a little late in posting this but you know what they say… good things come to those who wait!
This week would normally mark the start of a busy summer wedding season for me, but this year things are going to be a bit different! I‘m really going to miss performing for all the couples who have had to change their plans although I can’t wait to be part of their celebrations further down the line!
But for now we have a glimmer of hope to hold onto with the introduction of small outdoor ceremonies! Although this isn’t a feasible option for everyone, it is an ideal solution for couples who hadn’t planned a large wedding and are keen to tie the knot sooner rather than later!
Remember… the ‘perfect’ wedding doesn’t have to be a certain size or in a certain place to tick all the right boxes! Just do what’s right for you and don’t worry about social conventions!
Since elopement style weddings are becoming more popular, I thought I’d share a special feature this month dedicated to al fresco weddings! So stay tuned for more top tips over the coming weeks, including a how to guide for choosing wedding suppliers, a look at my most requested love songs and my must-have read this month – where I reveal the real reason I spend so much time in the recording studio!
Please feel free to get in touch if you’re interested in adding some musical touches to your outdoor ceremonies and I’ll be delighted to hear from you!
Stay safe everyone and keep sprinkling kindness like confetti everywhere you go!
