Congratulations to Dee and Johny who tied the knot this afternoon on the shores of sunny Newcastle in the historic Annesley Hall, home of the Newcastle Glees Musical Society! With the help of the fab team at Floralicious Designs, Dee and Johny transformed this quaint venue into a dreamy display of autumn opulence, with giant pumpkins, gorgeous garlands, lush greenery and a cascade of candles and fairylights all around the room! The smell was just divine! Their music was every bit as inspiring, with not one, but two beautiful songs creating a very unique backdrop for Dee’s entrance! It was the perfect combination of something old and something new and I was super-excited when she requested a medley of ‘Pachelbel’s Canon’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ for her Processional music! Have a listen to my recording and I’m sure you’ll love it too! (Fast forward to 1 min 30 secs and you’ll hear my subtle key change which was Dee’s cue to start walking!) Their eclectic playlist continued with more great songs throughout the ceremony including ‘All Of Me’, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and ‘What A Wonderful World’ for the Signing! Then for their Exit, a beautiful piano instrumental of one of the most famous movie themes of all time – ‘I’ve Had The Time Of My Life’ from Dirty Dancing! With or without the famous ‘lift’, this song is always a winner and today was no exception! There were no thrilling leaps off the stage, but this couple were definitely floating on cloud nine when they walked back down the aisle hand in hand! Such a pleasure to meet these two lovebirds and be part of their celebrations! Wishing them health and happiness for all their journeys together!
