Such a pleasure to be part of Laura and Christopher’s gorgeous wedding today at Corick House Hotel & Spa in Clogher. Laura requested so many great songs for their stunning ceremony in the Orchid Suite! I always enjoy being asked to perform surprise songs, but this one was even more special as Laura had planned a very unique medley for her entrance combining one of her favourite songs and also one of Christopher’s! Love the idea of featuring two songs which have a special meaning! For her Bridal Party walking up the aisle, Laura requested ‘The One’ by Kodaline and their entrance was timed to perfection! Then to create even more suspense, I added a key change before segueing into ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ by Elvis Presley! Such a perfect choice for Laura’s walk down the aisle to meet her future husband! You always know it’s the right song when it stirs so many emotions! There was lots more great music throughout the ceremony including ‘Rewrite The Stars’ from The Greatest Showman and ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ from The Lion King as the happy couple signed the register. Then for their joyful exit as newlyweds, I played ‘Marry You’ by Bruno Mars followed by ‘Here Comes The Sun’ by The Beatles! There was a great party atmosphere all afternoon as guests mingled in the Conservatory and enjoyed listening to the live music! My playlist featured a few more of Laura and Christopher’s favourite songs, including ‘Piano Man’, ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me’ and the theme from ‘Jurassic Park’! A real joy to meet this lovely couple and be part of their celebrations! Wishing them the happiest of happily ever afters and hoping their future is every bit as fun-filled and fabulous as today!
